# About the guide

## Who we are

The guide is written by the team at [Lovelace Loom](https://www.lovelaceloom.com/), a studio that builds and rolls out bots and automation for businesses. We use Grok Bot every day. What you read here is based on our own use, on xAI’s documentation, on videos and guides by other users, and on what actually works.

## Disclaimer

This is an independent, unofficial guide. It isn’t affiliated with xAI, X or Cursor, and they haven’t endorsed or paid for it. "Grok" and "Grok Bot" are trademarks of their owners, and we use them only to describe the product. We don’t use the official logo.

## How we write

- We test every lesson in the app itself. When the app works differently from the documentation, we write what actually works. Each lesson ends with links for further reading.
- All lessons were last checked on October 20, 2026, against version v0.71.2.
- The product changes almost every week, so something may already be different. Found a mistake, or something that works differently for you? Email us at [company@lovelaceloom.com](mailto:company@lovelaceloom.com).
- We give prices in US dollars. Outside the US, what you pay can depend on exchange rates and local taxes.

## Privacy

There are no third-party tracking or advertising tools on this site. What we keep when you sign up with your email, and how to delete it, is on our [privacy page](https://www.lovelaceloom.com/grokbotguide/en/privacy/).

## Accessibility statement

We built this site to meet WCAG 2.1 at level AA: a clear heading structure, full keyboard navigation, a "Skip to content" link, enough color contrast in both light and dark mode, and support for larger text. Every image has alt text. Lessons open after you sign in with your email, which requires JavaScript.

### Known limitations

Some of the sites we link to, like the xAI documentation, aren’t under our control and may not be fully accessible. If one of them gets in your way, write to us and we’ll help you get to the information another way.

### Reporting an accessibility problem

Ran into a problem? Email [company@lovelaceloom.com](mailto:company@lovelaceloom.com) and tell us which page it was and what happened. We treat accessibility reports as a high priority and answer every one.
