What can I do with ToText?
Turn recordings into text you can work with: read transcripts and summaries, find details, ask questions and manage tasks alongside the recording.
Who is ToText for?
People who want to revisit a lecture, meeting, interview or recorded idea and find the information that matters to them now.
How do I find something said in an earlier recording?
Search for a word or phrase in saved transcripts. Tags and favorites help you organize your library and revisit recordings.
What does a summary add to a transcript?
The transcript shows what was said, while the summary helps you review the main points. You can read and edit both alongside the recording.
Can I ask questions about a recording?
Yes. Open a recording and ask about its content, such as an explanation, topic or action that was mentioned. Answers use the recording content provided for processing.
What can I do with tasks?
Keep follow-up actions alongside the recording, add or edit tasks and mark them complete. The context stays close as you move from listening to doing.
Does ToText support my language?
ToText supports 60 transcription languages, including Hebrew. See the transcription-language list below; interface languages are listed separately.
Can I use recordings I already have?
Yes. Import supported audio and video files, transcribe them and continue working with the content. You can also copy text and export content to PDF. Supported imports include M4A, MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, WEBM, AMR and MP4. Recordings can be up to 4 hours, within your remaining allowance. Fair-use and technical limits apply.
How do I get started?
ToText uses a Freemium model. You can start recording and transcribing without a ToText account. Optional AI assistant connections use a separate sign-in.
How does ToText process recordings?
Transcription, summaries and answers are processed in the cloud and require an internet connection. The privacy policy explains data types, retention and deletion.
