Dictate into any app
Turn on the ToText Keyboard and a dictation pill follows you into WhatsApp, Mail, Notes - almost anywhere you can type. iOS will not let any keyboard hold the microphone, so the first tap opens ToText to start it; swipe back and keep talking, and your words land where you left off. For the next few minutes it starts without the hop. Tap Finish to insert the text, or Finish & Save to also file the audio in ToText as a full recording with its own transcript, summary and action items - that one uses your monthly minutes.
A clear AI summary
A concise summary and the action items, so you can find one detail without replaying an hour.
Ask your recording
Ask a recording a question and it answers from the transcript - and where the recording carries timings it cites the moment, so tapping 3:12 plays the sentence it came from. It even suggests the questions worth asking. On a long recording the chat reads the most recent stretch rather than all of it; the summary and search still cover the whole thing. Verify important details before acting.
Export anywhere
Send it out as a PDF with the summary and transcript together, share the summary as plain text, or copy either one and paste it anywhere.
Find it a year later
Search a word and ToText looks inside every transcript you own - Hebrew included, mid-word, not just from the start of a word. Filter by the tags it writes for you, star what matters, sort by date or length.

There is no account or advertising profile. Content leaves your device only for the short processing steps explained below.
- No account and no sign-in - installing the app is the only step.
- Your recordings, transcripts, summaries, and chats live on your device and, unless you turn it off, in your own iCloud Drive - under your Apple Account, never in an account with us. To stop it: iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Saved to iCloud → ToText.
- Audio and text are sent securely for processing, then removed under the retention windows in our Privacy Policy.
- No ads, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics SDKs.
